Collar de hilo de cobre con cuentas de papel reciclado (Joyas de Papel)

En lo que puede convertirse un viejo catálogo. En cuentas coloridas para este collar adornado con pequeñas cuentas de vidrio en color cobre, y con un broche de cobre también. 

Las cuentas se enrollan individualmente y se sellan con un barniz de base de agua. Los materiales son reciclados en su mayor parte.

is that you know how the paper looks like, but you do not know how the beads will turn out. 

It is always very exciting to see nice beads coming from beautifully decorated paper. 

Red Paper Bead Necklace with Gold Pearls and Garnet

This is to be used in a happy day. A joy to make it, and a joy to wear it. Hand-made silk-screened cotton paper, rolled into beautiful beads accompanied by Czech crystals, gold pearls, and garnet stones that make the pearls look like flower centers. Longer than usual, and just beautiful. 

The Joy of Creative Work

This is a version of another necklace made with the same blue and golden paper than the previous one, but with smaller round beads, and lavender glass. I love the nice length that can be worn over a sweater, or a dress, or simply over whatever you like to highlight with this design. 

I included a brass clasp with a purple motif on it, to make it more elegant

The love of creative work

This necklace is so elegant that a is already taken by a good friend of mine. I just wanted to show the detail of the work. It made me very proud to see the results of the thicker beads, they look gorgeous and ready to roll. 

I heard that a jewel is not only something made of gold or precious stones, but also an object

that has been made with great dedication and love. I would say that this necklace was made with those two ingredients, beside the fresh water pearls, the copper bead caps, the czech crystals, and of course my precious hand-rolled beads, made with cotton silk-screened hand-made paper. Gold paper beads and pearls

This is a beauty. It has two gold paper beads, and some baroque freshwater peacock pearls, combined with tiny gold-plated glass beads to complete the set. I design each of my pieces with beauty in mind. I like the story that materials tell, and the combination of media gives those pieces versatility. I also like to make my own beads by using organic materials, such as paper, which I recycle. 

Easy earrings (Aretes de papel rojos)

Estos aretes se me ocurrieron por unas cuentas que vi en Etsy. Eso sí, les puse mi toque personal. 

Los aretes están hechos de papel de algodón hecho a mano, y las cuentas también son hechas a mano (por mí), enrolladas hasta formar los conos. Después se les aplica una laca de agua que las protege de la humedad. Esos sí, no se pueden sumergir en el agua. Estos objetos son delicados, y para respetar el material del que están hechos, las lacas que se le ponen son a base de agua, no son sintéticas, así es que aguantan la lluvia, aguantan el sudor, pero no aguantan una sumergida en la alberca, o en la bañera, o bajo el grifo del agua.

Este collar está hecho a mano, cada cuenta está enrollada, pintada y laqueada individualmente. 

El collar se adorna con perlas doradas y cuentas de vidrio.
