This is a beauty. It has two gold paper beads, and some baroque freshwater peacock pearls, combined with tiny gold-plated glass beads to complete the set. I design each of my pieces with beauty in mind. I like the story that materials tell, and the combination of media gives those pieces versatility. I also like to make my own beads by using organic materials, such as paper, which I recycle.
Art is an activity capable of transforming reality. Art in itself is revolutionary, because it can scape the commercial system. These are my designs. I use any material that I can transform into jewels. I like to use ordinary materials like paper, wood, leather, glass, ceramic, clay. I like to combine those materials into beautiful jewels. Art creation is a liberating exercise, and something that makes us more human.

Hand Rolled Royal Necklace
This is a royal necklace made with cotton hand silk-screened paper rolled into beads. The accents of the necklace are cherry quartz diamond beads, and peacock pearls. This is definitely an eye catcher, and whoever wears it is very special.
Detail of the focal bead. Hand rolled paper, sealed with resin.
These beads are not water proof. They resist sweat, perfume and regular use, but they cannot be submerged in water.
Ocean and Earth (Clay and pearl necklace)
Lately I have been combining media to create my jewelry. I loved this combination of
peacock pearls and Atzompa hand made and oven baked clay beads. The hand made beads are beautiful, and crafter one by one by Atzompa artisans. I respect very much their work and whenever I can I visit Atzompa for pieces of clay.
This is the view of the front of the necklace.
The side of the necklace.
Volcano and Ocean Asymmetrical Necklace
Lava rock big rondelles, coral branches, peacock pearls, and squared pearls with rounded lentil coral beads. This is a statement necklace. Definitely a conversation piece, the asymmetry brings the beauty of each of the components. An eye catcher!
Secured metal clasp.

Hand Made Clay Beads and Pendant
I got inspired by the amazing job that Oaxacan artisans do with their clay. After visiting Oaxaca last month, I had absolutely to try to make something on my own. I tried with air-drying clay, because I do not have a kiln. This is a very nice outcome I got compliments while wearing my brand new clay necklace.

Art Decó Necklace
Fabulous Chocolate Stick, Baroque and round Pearl and Agate Necklace
This is a statement necklace, I came up with the idea for this one over several days, and I got inspired by the fabulous pearls I found at the bead store here in San Diego, and the asymmetrical features on Art Decó buildings. This looks great against your skin.
